Okay, I am in need of convincing…....from someone, anyone out there.  I know that I am going to ruffle the feathers of more than one diehard fan for approaching this, but I am also looking for someone to change my mind.

First let me preface this by saying that I understand that Jamie and Bobby are busy guys, with busy work lives and busier personal lives.  And I am truly thrilled for them both.

Having said that, could someone please give me a reason to continue to bookmark this website on my list of favorites?  Except for a SEMI-regular blog from Jamie, there have been no updates to this website in months.  There hasn’t been a podcast since April, no home movies since, maybe, March, and no update to ‘Get Fit with Bobby’ since February.  Even pics for the 2nd season of “Road Tasted” have not been added.

I’m not a Facebook user.  I get all my news and updates from websites and from Twitter.  Aren’t these things utilized for the purpose of self-promotion??  If I drop this website, I will likely not know when the next magazine or cookbook is released because Twitter is updated almost as infrequently as this website.  Isn’t that the kind of information that one would want to get out to as many people as possible?

So…..I’m listening for a while longer if anyone would like to chime in and help convince me.

Thanks…and I apologize if I’m sounding just a little cranky.

I couldnt tell you how many times I have started a email like that but didnt have the nerve to send it.  Its the support from true fans that have put the Deen Bros where they are today, would it be so hard to take 15 minutes out of your week for a little update.  They could even call it in and let someone from corporate type it in.  I saw Jamie and Jack at the Delaware State Fair last night so we now know he is not missing….

After reading Debie and Kate blog it saddens that the fans do not show support to Jamie.  It is obvious that everything is throw on his lap, I do love Bobby also but he got himself a girl and follows her around like a lost puppy and he completely forgotten about his fans and it seems his family obligations.  Jamie seems to have to pick up the pieces and take care of everything.  Plus, he also has Brooke and Jack to worry about.  I just thank Jamie for all the things he does do and thank him for at least trying to keep us updated.  Jamie there are a lot of fans who support and thank you for everything.  Have a talk with your brother and get some help.
