This has been a busy week,
February 9th, 2010
and its only Tuesday!
Mom was down with the stomach bug last week for a few days so we shot Best Dishes over the weekend and this morning too trying to make up lost time. Bobby and I just left a production meeting with Matt, one of the producers of the show Chef's vs City and I'm nervous y'all.
Brooke says I'm the most prepared man on the planet, my backpack going into the meeting tonight was so full Bobby asked me if I was spending the night, and nothing tomorrow is planned. Well, its planned, the crew on the shoot is 45 people but they ain't sharing anything with us.
We start at eight o'clock in the morning and spend all day racing around Savannah competing in food challenges and if I sleep a few hours tonight I will be lucky.
Tomorrow is also the day we plug in our map on the home page. The first set of pins are going to represent all of our stops on the Road Tasted show. We are going to include links to the business website's as well as behind the scenes photos that Bobby and I took when we were filming.
I wanted to list the Chef's Tour stops here on the blog, if we visit your city come see us!, and we are including a set of pins for the tour on the map too. Phil is only posting the cities that offer a link to the box office so some cities here on this list may not be on the map.
I am having so much fun making the home movies I couldn't wait to start number two and it will be ready for your viewing pleasure this coming Thursday. The people at Follow Productions have been laughing at me all week and teasing me about being on the wrong side of the camera but its fun work and I just love doing it so stay tuned.
Sorry this has been so choppy but Lost is about to start and I'm hooked so....

Not only is Katy gorgeous and from listening to the podcast, she’s sweet too and she’s originally from Florida which is really cool! We like watching Two and half men so will definitely tune in…

Hey Deb, saw the pictures. They’re great. What a gorgeous ship. I’ve never been on a cruise as I’m a little leery about being out in the ocean with no land in sight!!!!! But if I had some good “scenery” (know what I mean??) around, I guess I wouldn’t mind it!!!

For the Charlotte show on Sat, will there be a promo code sent out through email for a discount? I know in the past there has been for different things. I am thinking about getting a VIP ticket for the 8:00 show.

There has not been any information given to us that promo codes would be available for any of the Chef’s Tour stops. The best way to find out about them is to register for the newsletter on the PaulaDeen.com website. An email blast went out Saturday listing the stops and venues but did not have any information on promo codes.
Also, the dates for the Cincinnati and Cleveland shows are reversed; it is Cleveland on March 6 and Cincinnati on March 7. Orlando, FL has also been added for June 25.
