Been missing you, so happy to “see” you today!

A idea…..bring Jack and Brooke to Chicago and we will paint the town!!!!  That could take up two weeks!  We have so many wonderful things to see and do and…...I can meet my “Jamie” in person!!!!  Just sayin”!!!!!!

You do not owe us anything, we are so blessed you share your life with us.  It is me that owes you.

Superhero camp!!!! OMG!! I want to go!!!!  Between Superman and Batman, the Deen’s have it covered!!!!  Can an old lady sign up too?  Please!!!!!!

Congrats to Miss Paula!  What an honor for her!  Good luck….

Big news….not baby ...not marriage!  What ever it is, I hope it is something you want, you so deserve all that you get.  You do know I am your #1 fan, right??????  I want nothing but the best for you.  Can’t wait!

Wow, am I really the first to respond?  Let me say, I completely understand busy, it’s definately a 4-letter word! Your school gets out early, when does school start?  My oldest graduates high school May 28th, my other kids are out that day as well.  I thought THAT was early…..My exciting news is my daughter and I fly to Savannah tomorrow, we will be at the fundraiser Saturday and we are SO excited.  Don’t think either of us will sleep tonight.  Samantha (my daughter) has the card you sent her framed, you’re the reason she is so excited, just thought I’d share that   We will be in line to eat at Lady and Sons Friday, can you recommend a time to get out there?  Online it says 9:00 is when we can get a time, but what time should I plan on being in line???  Eating at your restaurant is on my life “to do” list and we’re only in Savannah until Sunday so please tell me what time I should plan on standing in line.  The only other thing we have planned besides the fundraiser at your Mama’s house is the Hearse Ghost Tour Friday night.  We’ve never been to Savannah so we are certainely looking forward to the trip.  See you Saturday, and can’t wait to eat at Lady and Sons!

LOL - You know us too well, Jamie.  Glad to hear Jack is excited about Summer Camp.  I have fond memories of Vacation Bible School when I was kid.  Of course, I went with about 5 cousins and 2 siblings which always made it fun!

Glad to hear about your Mom’s nomination.  My Mom is in the hospital but we were able to find the Food Network so she didn’t miss her “Paula” fix.

Hey Jamie,

I sure know what you mean about being so busy and time just passing by.  I can’t believe that it has been this long since I left a comment on one of your blogs.  Sorry about that.  I have been meaning to get on here and catch up but “life” just keeps happening.  I had a dream the other night that had you and Bobby in it.  It was one of the best dreams ever.  I got to hangout with you two in Savannah.  Sometimes dreams do come true and I am praying that this one does…LOL.  Anyway, I guess I had that dream cause I had been looking at pictures of meeting you two in Fairhope, AL.  Which was the coolest day ever!!!!  So much has happened since I commented last, with you too, I see.  I have finally found the love of my life.  He is the best guy ever and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. (yep, thats in the plans for the future..lol)  I have been waiting to find that person for a long time and I am so thankful that I have have him in my life.  I never knew that I could ever be this happy!!!!  Well, I better go…its almost time for bed.  I’m not gonna stay away this long ever again.  Tell Bobby HEY for me!!!!!  Love you guys.

Hey Deen Bros., glad to have you back.  Always look forward to your blog, Jamie.  Makes my day.  A little bloggie from you, Bobby?

I still haven’t seen the end of Chefs vs. City.  DVR’d it the night it was on but started watching it and fell asleep.  The next night I put it on and fell asleep AGAIN.  I’ve been very busy working and just so tired.  I’m sure a lot of people can relate to that.  Anyway, I know you won. So glad you did.  This weekend I WILL WATCH THE WHOLE THING.

Summer camp will be fun for Jack.  Super Hero sounds good.  How about some videos from you guys!!!  Another podcast will be great, too. 

Just leased a new car as I turned my other one in.  Hope I didn’t make a mistake.  It’s a Mercury Mariner, cute thing.  If anyone owns one, let me know if you like it. 

What day will you be on the Today show next week?  Perhaps Lisa or you can tell us.

My daughter and I had a longggg trip to Savannah and arrived late last night.  We got up early, stood in line at your restaurant and had a delicious lunch.  WOW, cross one off my life “to do” list - the food was wonderful, your employees were friendly, the atmosphere was fun, what more can I say?!  Looking forward to the fundraiser tomorrow night at Paula’s - oh yeah, loved the chef vs city, I have it dvr’d and watch it often.  Congrats to Paula on the nomination.

Hey Jamie!
I know what you mean…lately, it’s been crazy busy for us too.  It feels like there’s not enough time in a day and the days have been flying by.  Next Friday is the last day of school for our kids and it’s their last day of Pre-K too.  All the Pre-K classes in the county will get together at the local high school for a graduation ceremony…were going to shed many tears that night.  Jack is going to have so much fun at camp!  Really neat there’s a super hero camp!  Were in the process of signing up our kids for summer camp too.  Congratulations to your Mom with the emmy nomination…she has my vote too!!  SO EXCITED to see you all tomorrow…can’t wait!!!

Hi Guys-I’m sorry I missed the episode of you both in Chef vs City.  I’ll be sure to see if the network will run it again.  I know busy and planning things for children for the summer.  We will be saying goodbye soon to our exchange student we hosted from Germany this year.  My oldest daughter is working on getting her permit. (makes me nervous) My son will be graduating from Grade School in three weeks.  My younger two daughters will be finishing up school and then planning for summer activities.  They have such fun at Summer Camps.  Sounds like Jack will have a great time.  Thanks so much for sharing what you and your family is doing.  My family and I are looking forward to your surprise.  You all have been truly blessed and are an inspiration to us all.

Heard the fundraiser was great!  So wish I could have been there!  $100,000.00…..WOW!!!!  How great for Bethesda and for your family.

The photos are wonderful!  O’Neal has done yet another great job!!!  He and his wife take such beautiful shots.

I can’t wait to hear more about it.  You and Bobby were there, I see by the photos, but not too much written about you.  Maybe you could write about it, from your view. You know how much I enjoy reading your words.

I posted a picture on facebook but I just want to say Samantha and I had a WONDERFUL time at the benefit this past Saturday night.  Talk about awe-struck!  Samantha will NEVER forget meeting you, talking to you, hugging you, you hugging her…..and neither will I.  Savannah is absolutely beautiful.  Our next trip will include my husband and the boys-they were all teasing us about our little adventure but they want to see what we saw.  So much history, such friendly people, the only thing missing when we return will be you  

We have some fun pictures and I saw Samantha writing you a letter, I’m sure she’ll be mailing it this week.  Thanks for the awesome memories!
