Well folks, the Paula Deen cruise ship has sailed and I’m waving from the dock. Here’s ten reasons my feet are still on dry land.

I wound up spending a few extra days in Atlanta with my family after the forecast called for snow. We were going to head home Monday but snow, SNOW, was gonna fall on Thursday. I am from Albany, Georgia. Deep southwest Georgia. We used to stand outside and practically will flakes to fall from the sky. Many times we settled for sleet but hey, it wasn’t rain. I have been in snow less than 10 times in my life and always get excited to see flakes floating and wanted Jack to see in person what he has only seen on television.
