Let’s all work to help each other

February 23rd, 2010

This week I want to tackle a challenge that we all face. Every one of us has that handed down recipe that’s been in the family for generations that tastes so good but has zero consideration for today’s health standards.

That recipe in my family is macaroni and cheese.

I immediately go back to my Aunt and Uncle Heirs place over in Statesboro every time I take a bite. My Aunt Glennis made the best mac and cheese I have ever tasted. She always had huge hunks of fresh hoop cheddar cheese folded into her mixture and every third bite was loaded.

This version cuts down on some of the fat but none of the flavor. Y’all try it out and drop me a line here at the Get Fit section.

I think this would be an awesome section to share every one’s ideas for leading a healthier lifestyle, to encourage each other and to keep an open forum that is fun and helpful.

I can’t do it without you so send me your ideas and let’s Get Fit!

Bobby
